Repairs and Adjustments
If your glasses are slipping, feel too tight, or just don’t sit quite right, our team are happy to adjust them for you. We can also carry out most minor repairs, such as replacing nose pads, screws, or realigning bent frames while you wait.
Glasses with more significant damage, such as broken frames, usually need to be sent to a specialised lab which we are able to arrange.
You're welcome to visit our Dunedin or Mosgiel practices anytime during opening hours - no appointment needed for adjustments, minor repairs, or arranging offsite repairs. For those visiting our Gore practice, please call our Dunedin office on 03 477 3440 to book a short 10-minute appointment to arrange repairs or adjustments.
On-site Lab
Our Dunedin practice is one of a small number of practices equipped with an onsite optical lab and workshop. This allows our technician to fit new lenses to your glasses onsite. This service needs to be pre-booked to ensure we have your lenses in stock, but once they arrive it will take approximately one hour, and you're welcome to wait while they are being fitted.
